  Basil Oil (Ocimum Basilicum)
Basil essential oil is used topically to massage the skin. It enhances the luster of dull looking skin as well as hair. As a result it is extensively used in many skin care supplements that claim to improve the tone of your skin. It is also used for relieving acne and skin infections. Basil essential oil is also a good treatment for itching from bites and stings from honey bees, insects and even snakes. Other uses include curing motion sickness and vomiting.   Bay Oil (Laurus Nobilis)
The scent of bay oil is sweet, fresh and spicy and the oil is deep yellow in colour, being of medium to watery viscosity. The benefit of bay oil lies in its calming and warming effect on emotions and general aches and pains, including rheumatic pains. It also settles the digestive system, excess gas and also acts as a tonic on the liver and kidneys. In small amounts it has a stimulating effect, while larger doses produce a sedating effect.

  Bergamot Oil (Citrus Bergamia)
With a light, sweet fragrance that has spicy undertones, bergamot refreshes, relaxes and balances. It is an excellent natural deodorant as well as an anti-septic. Bergamot can also help to reduce body temperature as it stimulates the metabolic system and secretions, thereby giving a feeling of warmth and resulting in more perspiration or sweat from the Eccrine glands (sweat glands) and sebaceous (sebum) glands, thus reducing body temperature. The Flavonoids present in Bergamot oil are very good relaxants too.   Black Pepper Oil (Piper Nigrum)
Black Pepper essential oil is a strong and sharp spicy smelling oil and is faintly reminiscent of clove oil, yet more refined. It can range in colour from light amber to yellow-green and has a watery viscosity.   Carrot Seed Oil (Daucus Carota)
This must be one of the most underrated essential oils in aromatherapy. It has a soft earthy smell and not only helps to relieve stress and exhaustion, but is a powerful detoxifier and liver booster, while stimulating and rejuvenating the skin in general, thereby adding elasticity to any skin.
